Last years birthday party – I’m a slacker… But wanted to share a few photos before her party this year! Haha
Strawberry Milkshake Cupcakes – were a lot of work, but aren’t they adorable? I don’t mean a lot of work as in baking – I mean… See that cherry on top? I drove all over town looking for the perfect red “cherry” candy. Anyway – I found this adorable idea on Bakerella’s blog – this girl is talented – she’s also an organ receiver (I can’t do her story justice) – go read her blog! This is my photo of my milkshake cupcakes – the girls LOVED them!! Even had a few try to eat the straws…really, don’t ask. LOL
Frozen Banana Sundaes – adapted from an idea I found on Pinterest…but for some reason, I did not pin them – so I went straight to the source. So, you’re asking…how did I adapt them. I cut the bananas in thirds, stuck a stick in them and froze them. After they were frozen, I dipped them in melted chocolate and then the bowl of sprinkles. Ta Da – well not fully, Ta Da – I placed them back in the freezer – thats how the Frozen Banana Sundaes were born.
Rainbow kabobs – I bet you’re thinking these were found on Pinterest, too!? You’re probably asking yourself, can I function without Pinterest? HA Well, yes, I can – these weren’t a pinterest find – I know, I’ve seen the rainbow kabobs on pinterest, too. I think we’ve all seen things on pinterest and said, “I’ve actually made this before pinterest was even around” and now people will think – I stole the idea. gasp – there were parties before pinterest ya’ll.
Yes, pinterest – Chocolate Dipped Strawberries – found at mommy upgrade – my version…my daughters middle school colors.
Last but not least – Chocolate Sprinkle Spoons – I made these for the Thank You gifts – we wrapped them in clear bags kept them in the freezer until the girls were leaving.
