I guess I don’t talk enough about other things – ok, well I haven’t at all. Lately, we’ve been busy with the little mister…pun intended! I have the first and second shifts, Raye has third shift. Cause, I need my beauty rest or y’all…I’d be even more cranky. Even with coffee – cranky morning person. Consider yourself lucky that you don’t live with me. Ha

So – let’s go back…
Raye finished up eighth grade and we couldn’t be more happy! Finally out of middle school – but, gasp…that means, she’s now a freshman. She tried out back in April for freshman cheer and made the squad! Not only did she make the team, we’re pretty sure she came in second in points. We figured this out by…knowing who had the most and the least – I’m not saying this to be petty…it’s just the facts. Plus ten years of tumbling didn’t hurt!
The very next week, UCA cheer camp started (that’s last week for you nosy folks) – we dropped our girls off that morning with their bags, pillows, snacks, etc… What more could they want – well… Grinch slippers, iHome, soft toilet paper, etc… Parents and friends we allowed to attend each evening to watch the girls. I attended every night and snapped a few photos for Raye, the one thing I wished I got – I saw but didn’t video – her jump in the jump off! Amazing!
Freshman squad 2012 – 2013… I am so proud of this squad! They worked so hard this week – earning four trophies and several ribbons and one all American cheerleader! Raye and her Big Sister!
But, I’m mostly proud of this pin – Pin it Forward – that Raye earned on her own! Raye was picked from the Freshman squad, the captains from the JV and Varsity were chosen, too.
