And here’s my fancy paintings! Apple and Pear on canvas! Ohh look, another view of the new dining room paint! Y’all are getting close to a full review of the dining room! Such lucky friends! Ha
This was my inspiration – I wish I could remember where I found it. I hate that I can’t find the blog I saw it on – I thought I saved it. If anyone knows who this belongs to – please leave me a message!! Thank you! I for sure want to send credit to them!
Pantry Inspiration at Bees Knees Bungalow – I saw this and immediately knew I had a spot for a sign! In my pantry, of course! Check her blog out – lots of creative ideas!
This sign, just…in Francois! No, I don’t speak French, well some – not much! Enough to get me through Le Cordon Bleu! Some of our terms were in French – its a French Culinary School, ya know!
So I got to work! I used a recycled board – it was once a pine Mexican bench. That snapped in half at my daughters birthday party last year. I saved the top and tossed the legs. I spray painted the wood black, then painted it with a light blue paint/water mixture…
And then a coat of coral paint…the same as the hope chest. Yes, it’s hung in its new spot, but I can’t share that with y’all, yet – thus why this post is called… In Progress! In English, the sign says, The Market. That’s hand drawn, y’all.
And the leaning mirror is coming right along!

Ha! I found your site when googling myself today. Fun. I’m glad my sign inspired you to do one of your own. YAY!! Your’s looks great! Keep up the good work!
