I hope today was everything for my girl.
I took her to roasters for breakfast – strawberry/banana smoothie and a breakfast taco. She ordered chick-fil-a for lunch and we had sushi for dinner.
She was busy today – school, freshman cheer practice and tumbling.
It stormed today – our power was out for a little over an hour. Our power never goes out! Our temperature went from the 80′s to the 60′s – TWO inches of rain! The power went out for tumbling, too – they played hide and seek. And thankfully, I had the smarts to have the top and doors put back on the jeep yesterday!!
My sweet, beautiful, smart, thoughtful girl turned 14 today! I can’t believe she’s FOURTEEN! She’s the baby, too!

I’m in the process of planning her first boy/girl party! She decided to have a party with a friend – they’re sharing the party.
